The bettor, who wished to remain anonymous, made the winning spin Friday in Royal Oak, a Detroit suburb. The jackpot has since been reset.
The Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians operates its own online casino gaming suite in addition to three Michigan-based Four Winds casinos in New Buffalo, Hartford, and Dowagiac.
Four Winds noted it was its largest ever payout for a mobile casino jackpot. The previous record was a $262,243 jackpot hit Jan. 28 on Divine Fortune Touch with a $100 wager.
The payout was the second-largest overall for Four Winds this year, trailing a $770,953 progressive jackpot win at the brick-and-mortar property in New Buffalo for a bettor from Westchester, Illinois, from a $10 bet on Buffalo Grand Deluxe on April 6.
Four Winds, which launched its internet casino gaming operations in February 2021, has generated $14.2 million in gross internet casino revenue in the first four months of 2023 according to figures from the Michigan Gaming Control Board. Its iCasino suite has more than 400 slots and table games in addition to online sports wagering.
