Just like in every other game they’ve played this season, the Michigan Wolverines will likely enter the College Football Playoff semifinals as the betting favorite against Alabama.

Sports betting apps available across Michigan, including Caesars Sportsbook, DraftKings, and FanDuel, list the Wolverines as 1.5-point favorites ahead of the Jan. 1 game, while BetRivers has them favored by 2. Jim Harbaugh’s undefeated squad is 7-5-1 against the spread this season.

Alabama is 9-4 against the spread and beat Georgia in the SEC Championship as a 5.5-point underdog, the only time all year the Crimson Tide weren’t favored.

Line shopping for the Wolverines

Bettors can find minor price differences in each sportsbook’s moneyline. BetMGM lists Michigan at -120 to advance to the national championship game, while ESPN BET and Caesars Sportsbook each have the Wolverines at -125. DraftKings has the Wolverines at -122 to win the game over Alabama, while FanDuel lists them at -130.

Sportsbooks also have minor differences in Michigan’s national title futures price, with ESPN BET listing the Wolverines at +185 to win the championship. They’re +190 on BetMGM and +200 on FanDuel. Michigan hasn’t won a national championship since 1997.

If you’re a Michigan fan planning to back the Wolverines with your hard-earned money, it’s always worth scrolling through different betting apps to find the best price for Jim Harbaugh’s team.

The total for the Alabama game is 44.5 at BetMGM, BetRivers, DraftKings, ESPN BET, and FanDuel, while Caesars Sportsbook has the over/under at 45 points.

Possible national title opponent

Should Michigan advance to the national championship game with a victory over Alabama, the Wolverines will face the winner of Texas-Washington. The Longhorns, the Big 12 champion, are 4-point favorites at BetMGM and Caesars Sportsbook, while FanDuel lists Texas as a 4.5-point betting favorite.

The undefeated Huskies thrive as an underdog, however, beating both Oregon and Oregon State down the stretch when not favored. Washington is 3-1 against the spread this season as either an underdog or a favorite of a touchdown or less, while Texas has covered three consecutive games as a favorite.
